Very professional & well done remembrance of our Tabby. Thank You!
I have had 2 separate experiences with Kay’s-Ponger. I lost my mother and my father in 2017. My first experience was as outstanding as my next. Fred Duncan was kind, compassionate, professional and treated my family like we were his own. When dad passed away, we decided at the very last minute, on the day of his burial, to have a viewing for the benefit of dad’s many siblings that traveled from Canada. Fred Duncan ensured things were handled and arranged the viewing of my father with very limited time to work with. My parents were laid to rest in the most courteous, gentle and dignified manner, thanks to the wonderful staff at Kays-Ponger. My deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone. Would highly recommend Kays-Ponger to friends, family and neighbors without hesitation.
I am so very appreciative of everything you did for my family at our most difficult moments. You took care of my dad W.L. in 2014, my husband Jim in 2017 and my mom Velma in 2018. Everything you did for our family was the best anyone could ask for. You have so much respect and concern for the family in a very difficult time. I would like to especially thank Nadia Hurt for her compassion, her patience and the wonderful job she did with bringing everything together so beautifully. She helped us so much. Nadia, you are the best and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did. Sandra Hartwig
We had moved away, but were able to work with your people to provide what had to be done at our new location and then get returned to your facilities to use what we had already planned. We were very satisfied.
Cannot say enough positives about the caring and professional handling of my husbands arrangements. No request was too large or small, they worked with my family to ensure all our needs were met. The beautiful arrangements, pictures, bookmarks, rearranging furniture to allow for coffee & food in their receiption area was outstanding. In addition, we had a motorcycle procession that they helped coordinate. My family and I could not be more pleased.
Absolutely the best from the people to the displays.
On behalf of my family, thank you and your staff, especially Debra Fewell, for all of your kind and compassionate assistance as we mourned the loss of our mother. From pre-arrangement to the actual date of the funeral and ensuring that the casket was shipped to New York from Florida - all of the details we discussed were accurately fulfilled. Debra was especially attentive, professional and understanding of our needs - my family and I are extremely grateful that we chose you and will not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family. Thank you very much.
I’m pleased to have chosen Kays-Ponger & Uselton and greatly appreciate there kind words & affordable pricing. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or being pushed into something I did not want. Knowing that they showed me empathy and respect to my family I would highly recommend them to any one in time of grief. Kays-Ponger & Uselton...very helpful and understanding!
I have done two funerals with Kimberly a Funeral Director at the Punta Gorda Home, one for the Day family and one for the Jones family. Kimberly is meticulous in taking care of the smallest details. It was truly a pleasure working with her.
My friend John Huber passed on March 16th. I was his healthcare surrogate, POA and executor of his estate. Family members stepped in to try to take control creating a mess. Thanks to Kimberly McClure the communication issues with the family were resolved and Johns remains will be handled as he wished. Without Kimberly's help this would have never happened, that's what I call going the extra mile.
The service I received at Kays-Ponger & Uselton, and more specifically by my Funeral Director, Nadia Hurt, was absolutely perfect. Nadia explained every aspect of the funeral arrangements to the smallest detail. She came up with suggestions, I never would have thought of. Any questions were perfectly answered. Nadia didn't mind spending any amount of time needed to deal with any of my questions and/or her suggestions. Summing up: I was so impressed by the funeral home and Nadia that I am presently working with her on all the funeral arrangements for me, when my time comes. I can wholeheartedly recommend Kays-Ponger & Uselton!

Hello, my mom went to heaven on Sept. 2, 2014. The director of Kays Ponger, Mr. Glenn Pomerantz assisted our family in the preparation for our mom"s service and our Law enforcement motorcycle club escort to the Fort Lauderdale airport to fly our mother to her beloved resting place in the island of Puerto Rico. To say that Mr. Pomerantz did everything in his power with kindness, respect, and utmost respect, honesty and integrity is to say the least. Our experience at Kays Ponger was an easy and friendly encounter as if you were family. my recommendation for Kays Ponger is at least one final plan you have to do with knowing your experience will be one to put you at ease. Thank you Bernie Ayala Defenders Law Enforcement M/C.
Our daughter passed away unexpectedly just a few months ago. We met with Glenn at the Port Charlotte location to plan for her burial. He was professional, kind, and respectful of our wishes. He explained our options but left the decisions up to us. We also worked with Brian who guided us through the burial process at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, he was very helpful. Thanks to all for taking care of our needs during this most difficult time.
I lost my daughter July 16. Complications from a heart transplant. The people at Lemon Bay were so good to me. I just want to thank Steve especially. You helped me when I couldn’t help myself. Thank you so much.
My wife died December 2. Funeral Director Fred did an excellent job helping my daughter and myself make all preparations for my wife. Fred made us feel very comfortable. Fred was able to assist us and answer any and all questions. Fred was very compassionate, courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend this facility.
