Joan Hanrahan Falconer

"Via a friend, I recently heard of Joan passing, I will l always remember Joan as just a great spirit, a beautiful woman !!!. We first meet when I asked her to dance on the dance floor in the early 70 during the ' Disco Fever Era ', we quickly became friends and dance partner, ( she was a great dancer too !!! ), we even won a few first place dance contest !!! I smile as I type/think about her now !!! I will always cherish our friendship !!!"

"I met Jaon in training for United and fell in love with her then! You knew she was special from the moment you met her, and when I went home with her to meet the family, I knew why! I felt like I was one of them! She showed me her New York, and I loved every minute of it! We were roommates a couple of times and she gave me some of the best memories of living in Chicago! Oh My, the stories! I again met up with Joan flying out of DC after 25 years of not being in contact...it was like we'd talked the day before! I'm so happy that you were my friend...I'm sure your positive attitude influences me daily! Joan was always there with her laughter and positive energy and I remember thinking as a young woman, WOW, I want to be more like her.
