Mary passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska, following an extended illness.

Mary Ellen (Dailey) Weil Vest was born on December 22, 1941 in Clarinda, Iowa, the daughter of Guy and Doris (Welch) Dailey. Mary entered into eternal peace on Monday, April 8, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mary was born and raised in the community of Clarinda. She was united in marriage to Ronald Weil on December 23, 1959 in Guss, Iowa. Since Ron was in the military, the couple lived in several locations before settling in Shenandoah.
Following Ronald's passing, Mary was united in marriage to Paul Vest in 1993 in Shenandoah, Iowa. The couple later moved to Oklahoma where they made their home until Paul's passing. Mary then returned to Shenandoah. Mary held various jobs throughout her life, but her favorite job was staying home and caring for her family. She enjoyed doing crafts, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She had recently been attending church with her sister at the Family Harvest Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Ronald Weil and Paul Vest; parents Guy and Doris Dailey; son Donald Weil; and brother Sonny Dailey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Gaylen Weil and wife Susan of Shenandoah, Barbara Ethridge and husband Scott of Omaha and Michael Weil and fiancé Val Knepp also of Omaha; grandchildren Kevin, Melissa and Tony Weil, Nick and Alissa Ethridge and Thalia Gonzales; sister Ida Strange and husband Robert of Shenandoah; brothers Wendell Dailey and wife Sheila of Shenandoah and Larry Dailey of Clarinda; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

"Mary Vest Weil will surely be miss by those who know her she has been a longtime friend of my mother Mary Jane Parman and my aunt Marilyn Kay Parman Mary was a former member of our Birthday club and always love to play bingo in that club and she was very fond of being a closer friend to my mom and my aunt and myself and my family we are really shocked to learn that she has pass away only saw her last week when she came for coffee at my aunt house we gonna miss her more than you would have know may she rest in peace Marilyn Kay Parman and Terry ann Fetz and husband Ronald and Brian&Lisa Hummel and the girls"
