February 1, 1985 - June 8, 2013

Sun Prairie, WI - Brent E. Petty, Age 28, died Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2013 at home. He was born February 1, 1985 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Everett and Marian (Spring) Petty.

Brent worked in commercial construction and spent a short stint in retail. He was free spirited and enjoyed spending time with his friends, his favorite past time was long boarding, drawing, painting, and tattooing.

Brent is survived by his parents, Everett and Marian Petty of Sun Prairie, WI, sister, Krystal Petty (Frank Tafta) of Ottumwa, IA, brother, Austin Petty of Sun Prairie, WI, his maternal grandparents, Roger and Ella Jane Spring of Rockford, IL, his paternal grandparents, William and Janice Petty of Friendship, WI, aunts and uncles, Scott and Michelle Spring, Nancy and Steffen Lang, Roger Allen Spring, Kevin and Roxanne Bunch, Daniel and Debbie Petty, David and Bonnie Petty, Elizabeth Petty, Lois Petty, Roger and Rachel Bleskachek, a host of cousins, and niece, Aubree Tafta.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
