"This is very shocking to me.I just found out.I met Tere (The Kid ) at Valles steak house where i was the chef.Tere was hired as a cashier in the mid seventies and we became good friends.Valles moved me to Worchestor Ma. in 1979 and Tere visited me there going thru her first cold winter.Near the holidays she went back to Florida. In the mean time Valles moved me to Conn. and Tere visited again for a while. In 1980 i left Valles and went back home to Fall River Ma. where Tere visited again for a few months. I then moved to Florida and stayed in i of her condos in 94 .I moved up to Pompano where i got a job that i still have.We lost touch with each other but i thought of her often.Tere was so full of life.I have so many great memories and will miss her dearly."

"Tere was my best friend & considered her my big sister, in the 20 yrs I knew her all she did was help me with her uplifting advice. I am heartbroken & to all her family I am so very sorry for your loss. I will miss her. I just found out today. I was calling & emailing her & just thought she was busy working on her home. I am very upset that I missed her service. Tere Star I love you & miss you dearly. I should have known something was wrong when I didn't hear from you for so long. we spoke at 3 times a week. I love you, my friend, my sister you were the strongest, helping loving person I have ever known."
