"The first time I met Betty was on a Friday when her and Dennis or as she called him "Bunker" came back from having fish (fry). She was a warm person who welcomed me into her family and treated me like the daughter she never had. I will miss rummage Wednesdays, strawberry picking at Hazeltine's, peeling and eating grocery bags of corn, and especially your stuffed cabbage. Love you Betty. "

"I will deeply miss Aunt Betty. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She and I shared an affinity for animals and she was more than happy to let me, as a child, spend time with her guinea pigs and share stories of her bunny. I was fortunate, as an adult, to be able to introduce her to my dogs and bunnies in return. When I was just a few years old, she bought me a little china tea set for my birthday and I will always keep that tea set in my home just as I keep Aunt Betty in my heart. We will all miss her smile."
