"Bob was an inspiration to everyone. In spite of his daily physical challenges, his cheerful, upbeat personality was infectious. He never complained and left you feeling better for having talked to him. His ability to rattle off baseball statistics was amazing. I will miss chatting with him about the Cardinals. My deepest sympathy to his family. ~Doris W. "
"Uncle Bob was a go to guy. He and trisha always had something in a little brown sack for us kids on Christmas. I went to a couple coyotes hockey games and meet and greets here in Arizona. I got a couple of hockey sticks and had them signed by the coyotes team. He was a Blues fan but he was tickled that I gave them to him. We had such a great visit in April and I am so glad that I got to see him then when he was still BOB. R I P and tell dad Hi for me. "
"My uncle Bob meant alot to me he definitely put up with some of my antics and always with a smile .I always had to brush up on my hockey before a conversation cause the man kept a notebook of shots on goal, subs, penalties ect ect.....for years he kept them in a box that was what he did..I spent alot of time on ridge St and the terrace and that man was solid ... He also let me do pull ups on his arm that was awesome..But I can say him Jay cook and a friend cpt ron rank as three of the best men I know ..Always treat people right and will help you in a minute ..Just hope someone says that about me someday

"My uncle Bob was a really great person, he was quiet, and he and my aunt Trisha put up with me every summer! he will be greatly missed!!"
"I am saddened to hear about Bob's passing. Bob & Trisha were my next door neighbors for many years; and what great neighbors they were! Bob was a very kind man...always nice to my kids when they were growing up. I think of him often, and the tragedy he was struck with. I know he did not let that get him down. I will miss him and have missed having him as my next door neighbor! Rest in Peace Bob!"
"Bob's cheerful attitude and determination were inspiring here at River Hills Village. He will be greatly missed."
"Bob was a big part of my life growing up in Keokuk. He never seemed to get upset with anything and always talked about Cardinals baseball and the Blues hockey. I loved conversing with him and remember many family picnics. He always had a smile. I hope he meets up with all the other family members that have passed before him. "
"I used to visit with Bob,on my trips to River Hills..The Cardinals, were the main topic of conversation, and the old days at Hubinger/Roquette. he was a great guy,,never complaining..May he rest in peace."
"Uncle Bob was one of a kind. Very kind and gentle always doing for others. I remember him walking around town always in flannel even in August. I never saw him get excited or angry. When I was little he and Trisha took me to a tractor pull and let me ride an elephant....never forget that. He always gave blood and on those days Trisha had to fix him liver & onions. He was a creature of habit, liked to eat at. 5 o'clock sharp. Even after his accident he never complained about his circumstances. He will be missed by many."
