Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, at the Joyce Funeral Home. Burial is in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ruthven. The family will greet friends from noon until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Julie Ann Weatherman was born August 20, 1954 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew and Norma (Blanck) Miller. She attended Gilmore City Schools and was a graduate of Gilmore City High School.
Julie lived in the Terrill and Fostoria area where she raised her three children, and currently, she resided in Ruthven.
Julie enjoyed camping, listening to music, and gardening. She loved her four dogs, and treasured the time she spent having a good time with her family and friends
On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, Julie passed away at the Spencer Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Deb Anderson and her husband, Lyon of Clarion, IA, Dusty Bollinger and her husband, Chad of Oskaloosa, IA and Danny Weatherman of Paullina, IA; her significant other, Tom Simington of Ruthven; four sisters: Sue Porter and her husband, Rod of Monroe, IA, Kathy Berger of Ayrshire, Terri Spencer of Des Moines, and Melody Berger and her husband, Roland of Wathena, KS; brother, Scott Miller and his wife, Kim of Gilmore City, IA; seven grandchildren: Aaron, Ally, Kale, Dane, Nolan, C.J. and Abby; her aunt, Dorothy Larsen of Burt, IA and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Sam Berger.
