Ernest A. "Ernie" Warren, 51, of Davie, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2013.
Ernest was born in Miami, Florida on August 27, 1962, the son of Ernest W. and Dolores J. Warren. Raised and educated in Miami, Ernie graduated from Coral Gables High School and Miami-Dade Community College. In 1992, he and his family moved to Davie, Florida.
An accomplished musician, Ernest was the church organist at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Miami since he was 11 years old and played for 17 years. To further his musical skills, he studied under the direction of Dr. Dale Willoughby at the University of Miami where he earned his degree in music. He also held a Pilot's License.
Unfortunately his career came to a halt when he was taken ill and had been under his mothers care for the past 20 years.
Survived by his beloved mother, Dolores J. Warren, sister, Lisa Shandor niece, Kristen, two nephews, David and Daniel Shandor. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest W. Warren in 1998.
Visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Funeral Service on Saturday, September 28th at Twelve Noon at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at The Way of The Cross at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
