Donald Burkey
January 21, 1933 - November 3, 2013

Donald Burkey, (Flag Emblem) of Deerbrook, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. He was 80 years old. He was born on January 21, 1933 in Maquoketa, Iowa.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

After military service Mr. Burkey worked at the Bong Air Base in Kenosha as a heavy equipment operator until 1959. For 29 years he worked at American Motors Corporation which became Chrysler Motor Co., retiring in 1988.

He moved to Deerbrook in 1994, where he enjoyed cutting wood, fishing and watching wildlife.

Survivors include a daughter Cheryl (George) Feil of Green Bay.

In 2012 he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kay Mayfield.

No services are scheduled.
