Danilo Pijuan
April 30, 1939 - December 8, 2013

Danilo Pijuan, 74, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Vitas Innovative Hospice Care at Memorial Hospital, Pembroke Pines,

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on April 30, 1939, son of Nivaldo and Modesta (Cabral) Pijuan. Raised in Santo Domingo, Danilo came to the United States in 1961.

Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Altagracia (Santana) Pijuan, five loving daughters, Maria Bello, Dirsia Pijuan, Leonor Marinez, Lydia Castro and Violeta Pijuns, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation on Friday, December 13th from Twelve Noon to 2:00 P.M. with a funeral service at 1:30 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3001 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood.

"Danilo un personaje pintoresco ,simple con un cuento una sonrisa un caballero...Siempre me acuerdo de las magia que le hacia a mis hijos y sobrinos.la peseta que aparecía destras de la oreja las caras de los nios tan pero tan sorprendido con sus trucos la fantasias que emocionaba nunca lo olvidare así como con su cámara tomando vídeos para todas ocasiones danilo siempre llene de alegría si te recordare..."

"Dear Papa This man wasn't just a great husband and a loving father. He was more than that, he became an uncle a grandfather of 10 and a great grandfather of 4. He was the life of the party. He made other people laugh, smile and had great stories to tell. I remember when I was younger going on walks with him and hearing his stories. He taught ALL his grandchildren many things with their hands (turtle,bird and the fountain). During parties we would always catch you with a drink, if it wasn't the drink it would be la guira.
