"Dear Barbara and family,
Since my memories of your father date back to our days in high school at Nova, I only remember your father as a young, vibrant gentleman who, along with your wonderful and spirited mother, treated me with endless generosity and uncommon warmth. My father saw the notice about your father in the paper and just remembered to forward it to me.
Barbara, it has been so many years since we last saw each other but the passage of time has not dimmed my very fond memories of our times together, your boundless energy and your radiant smile. I now live in the New York City metropolitan area and hope we can reconnect. With deep sympathy, Ron Schwartzman "

"Dr. Perry, he will always be Dr. Perry to me, was my father's ( Emmett Shaughnessy ) best friend and hunting and fishing buddy. I didn't realize though that they had so much in common. Both of them graduated from the University of Maryland and they both married strong opinionated women named Marge. My daughter said he
was her grandparents favorite person, because he said she could jump into their pool with her dress on at their 4th of July party. I must say I also remember seeing my drenched child grinning at me. Thanks a lot Dr. Perry. :)
I know you are in heaven fishing or hunting with my father.
Dad sure hopes you weren't buried with your pants from Sears. That was their little joke. God bless you and your family. Celebrate his life! "
