Billie Virginia Boulton
WAPELLO, Iowa--Billie Virginia Boulton, 82, of Wapello, died on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the Wapello Nursing & Rehab Center.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at the Grandview Community Bible Church. Burial will take place in Wapello Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello and also from 1 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2013, at the fellowship center of the church.
Billie was born on November 20, 1931, in rural Columbus City, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Morgan Dameron. She married M. Ted Stephens on September 12, 1950, at the Louisa Center Community Church in rural Louisa County. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1992. She married Harold Boulton on August 5, 1995, at the Grandview Community Bible Church.
She graduated from Wapello High School and University of Iowa.
Her family includes her husband, Harold Boulton; four children, Michael (Christine) Stephens of Muscatine, Cheri (Roger) Snyder of Diamond City, Arkansas, Scott (Elsie) Stephens of Burlington, and Lynn (Sheryle) Stephens of Columbus Junction; four step-children, Barbara (David) Clark of Monmouth, Illinois, Bonnie Britten of Seattle, Washington, Robert (Peg) Boulton of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Marjorie (Dan) Flowers of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Russell) Mapes of Tomball, Texas; and a brother, Daryl (Pam) Hartsock of Columbus Junction.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ted; and a step-son, David Boulton.

"So sorry to hear--I randomly have thought about Billie over the years and have wondered how she was getting along. We used to carpool to the UI together for a while, until she retired. I remember the big romance between her and Harold as they were dating at this time."
