Irene Hull
December 15, 1922 - January 13, 2014

Irene Hull, of Antigo, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at KHTCR-Eastview. She was 91 years old. She was born on December 15, 1922 in Mattoon, a daughter of Leonard and Tina (Melhberg) Voigt. She married Willard Hull on June 4, 1949 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1995.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1941 and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she graduated from Grove Bernard School of Business in 1944.

After marriage she and her husband farmed for 13 years. She worked for John Filbrandt Plumbing and Heating as a bookkeeper, accountant and in merchandising for 27 years retiring in 1991.

Mrs. Hull was a leader of Neffswitch 4-H Club and was the 4-H county craft leader. She volunteered for the Langlade County Committee on Aging and was a member of the Langlade County Historical and Genealogy Societies along with the Bryant Women's Club and the Business and Professional Women's Club of Antigo. As a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church she participated in Ladies Aide and Mary Martha's society.

She enjoyed playing piano, crafts, genealogy, scrap booking, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include two daughters Ruby (Ray) Dettman, Antigo, Mary Anstutz, Antigo; eight grandchildren Renee (Doug) Smith, Robyn (Mark) Rosio, Suzanne (Dennis) Igl, Lisa (Ed) Ullman, Paula (Ron) Campbell, Chad Anstutz and Jeannette, Travis Anstutz and Becki, Jesse Anstutz; eleven great-grandchildren Jonathon Igl and Vicki, Stephanie (Ramon) Pinto, Matt Ullman, Michael Ullman, Shane Ullman, Shana Bricko, Casey Anstutz, Matt Tattersal, Brady Anstutz, Lydia Rosio, Olivia Smith; and six great-great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Dennis Anstutz, a granddaughter Rana Dettman, and a great-grandchild Payge Zynda.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Polar with Rev. Donald Engebretson officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
