Richard Paul Boettcher
April 8, 1930 - January 24, 2014

Richard Paul Boettcher, of Antigo, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at KHTCR-Eastview. He was 83 years old. He was born on April 8, 1930 in Park Falls, a son of the late Richard and Ruth (Hall) Boettcher. He married the late Armyllis Weirschke in 1952 they had five children. The couple later divorced and he married Maxine Dickerson on December 24, 1985 in Newton, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 2002.

Mr. Boettcher served in the united States Army from 1948-1949.
He was a self-employed welder in Newton, Iowa. Following he retirement in 1986 he moved to Antigo. He then moved to Elton, where he lived for over 20 years until returning to Antigo in 2003.

He enjoyed trout fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon (Don) Tucker of Carrollton, Ill and Victoria (Fred) Heller of Antigo; a son, Paul (Delores) Boettcher of Russell, Kan; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a sister, Anita (Ralph) Kleinsteiber of Highbridge; a brother, James (Jeannie) Boettcher of West Bend; and a sister-in-law, Ceilia Boettcher of Maple.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Boettcher; infant son, Rodney; two grandchildren, Robin Klein and Jeramie Heller; three sisters, Thelma Taylor, Susan Berndt and Jessie Kleinsteiber; and two brothers, Franklin and Fred.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
