Ronald J Krzysiak
July 28, 1941 - January 25, 2014

Ronald Joseph Krzysiak,of Antigo, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 25, 2014 at his home. He was 72 years old. He was born on July 28, 1941 in Antigo, a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Wavrunek) Krzysiak.

He graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1959.

Mr. Krzysiak served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1962, having been stationed in Adak, Alaska during the Cuban Crisis.

Upon returning home for the service he moved to Green Bay. He married Marge (Siefert) Becks in 1967, the couple later divorced.

He was employed at Bell Telephone Company in Green Bay until his retirement in 1996. Following his retirement he returned to Antigo.

Mr. Krzysiak was an avid HAM Radio operator since age 15, having the call sign K9GEC. He loved to talk to his friends on the NET. He had an interest in model trains, enjoyed photography, and playing cards. He was a sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan.

An amateur inventor, he always had a project in "the works".

Survivors include two daughters, Roxann (Tom) Styczynski of Krakow, WI and Ami (Jerry) Gracyalny of Little Suamico, WI; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rita Rentmeester of Campbellsport, WI, Cynthia (John) Hammond of Taylor, WI and Kathryn (Steve) Rolling of Antigo; four brothers, Joseph (Jean) Krzysiak of Lake Havasu, AZ Gary (Laura) Krzysiak of Algoma, James Krzysiak of Antigo and John Krzysiak of Antigo.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Lewellyn Rentmeester.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
