William W Johnson
June 28, 1958 - May 21, 2014

William W Johnson, of Elcho, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Langlade Hospital. He was 55 years old. He was born on June 28, 1958 in Rhinelander, a son of Warren "Doc" Johnson and the late Hazel (Hagen) Johnson.

He was a graduate of Elcho with the class of 1977.

Since age 14 he had worked for his father in the family plumbing and heating business, Elcho Plumbing and Heating.

He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, the Ruffed Grouse Society, Snow-Devils snowmobile club, Elcho trap club and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Survivors including his father are two sisters Maryann Brueggmann of Germany, Carol (Chip) Schoeneck, Rhinelander; a brother Peter (Roseanne) Johnson, Elcho.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Church of Chirst, Congregational in Elcho with Rev. Gary Wilner officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
