Allen Eisenman
March 26, 1920 - May 28, 2014

Allen Eisenman, of Post Lake, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at North Central Health Care Center in Wausau. He was 94 years old. He was born on March 26, 1920 a son of Buster and Eva (Sexton) Eisenman. He married June Schabell on August 14, 1940 in Crandon. She survives.

He served in the Civil Conservation Camp on Otter Lake in Elcho. He worked in a logging camp in Ontonogan Michigan for several years. Drafted into the United States Army during World War II he served in Italy. Following military service he moved to Wausau and was employed at American Can Corporation for 30 years.

After retirement he build a home near Post Lake.

He was a member of the American Legion Post in Wausau.

In addition to his wife survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Robert) Marine of Post Lake; a brother Harold (Bev) Eisenman, Wausau; a grandson Robert Allen Marine Jr., Post Lake; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday June 5, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Elcho Cemetery where the Elcho American Legion Post will conduct military rites.
