"Little Mike, you will live on forever in the hearts of our family and may your memory be a blessing too all those who called you friend. As you make your journey aunties Bert and Pink, Grandma Sophie, great aunt Irene, your grandpa Robert, Uncle Harold, my dad and my brother are there waiting to help guide your way. In our language we have no word for good-bye, we only say 'see you' and one day we all will see you again.

"Squawker, Please except my apologies in advance for not attending these services planned for your celebration in life. I don't feel it necessary to parade through for merely a social status... Both you and I knew our love for another and that does not have to be explained to anyone....
The joy that comes from loving you will never be erased by death. I will both remember and honor you with every living breath of my own left and fiber of my beings. Two hearts connected. death cannot and will not take away from the love I feel daily and grows more and more immense. The tears flow from missing you already but the love stays strong and forever.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always on you your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
My hope is by now you are with my father. He loved you just as you loved him and have by now have had the opportunity to meet his father, Norm.
Wishing you good heath and above all happiness today and all the days to follow.
My love today and always,
M"

"We met Squawk through our son, Joe, and always enjoyed him being around and his humor. He enjoyed coming over and getting a meal (sometimes staying all night) and I enjoyed his hugs. A life lived too short he will be missed and remembered always. Our condolences to his family. If I can find some pictures I will share them with you."

"I will never forget all the great times we had back in High School at good old CCE. Squawk was always happy and could make you laugh with just about anything that came out of his mouth. Even though I wasn't really what I consider a 'close' friend I was a friend just the same, it was just many years ago and I will always remember his great attitude. He had many friends and no enemies. You will be missed. "
