"Brandon, I still can't believe that your gone! It's now been a week since your passing & since the last time that we got to see & talk to you. When you stopped over to our Post lake home Friday July 4th, you were in such "Good spirit's & couldn't wait to head over to Pickerel to begin your weekend Birthday celebrations. When asked what you've been up to since seeing you the 2 weeks prior when we were up, you Smiled that large Brandon smile of yours and answered, "You know me... "I'm just living the dream!! Who would have ever thought that that would be the very last time that we'd ever see you... :"(
I'd like to Thank you for being such a loving, caring, giving person, my bodyguard/Big Brother (When needed), an awesome bartender, for always making us Laugh & Smile and for being a good friend to us along with always making us feel Welcome no mater where we met you out or ran into you when out and about!! We always looked forward to seeing you when we were up North. Many fond memories that we'll never forget. There will for always be a hole in the heart of Post lake without you as you've touched the hearts & souls of many! No one will ever be able to fill those big shoes. One last ((BIGHUG)) until we meet again. Love and miss ya buddy!

"...Funny how the good ones go
Too soon, but the good Lord knows
The reasons why, I guess.
Sometimes the greater plan
Is kinda hard to understand
Right now it don't make sense
I can't make it all make sense.
So I'm gonna sit right here
On the edge of this pier
Watch the sunset disappear
And drink a beer.
So long my friend
Until we meet again
I'll remember you
And all the times that we used to...
(From the song "Drink A Beer" by Luke Bryan)
Rest in peace, my friend. "

"To our friend, "Brandon". What can I say except you will be missed by Mary and I. You touched our lives like few others could. From the little time at the camper we had together "including the hair cuts" to picking up your dog that night but, that's what friends do. It's hard to believe that God could take such a special person who did so much for other people. He must have needed you. Missed by your other two Post Lake Family members."

"The Children brought Brandon home as a stray about 20 years ago and he has been a part of our Family ever since. He calls me MOM and Harry Dad. He never missed our birthdays or Mother and Fathers day. Sometimes I would get called to the front office and there would be a gift of flowers with a another gift for my garden. The happiest time was when I brought him home the cutest chocolate puppy that he immediately named Brandy after his daughter. As many in his life know they became inseparable, even though she ate his truck from the inside out starting with the visors then the entire bench seat. He spent many hours training her and she was proud to show what she knew. The only time she ever got upset was on the 4th of July parties and there was a miss hap and a mortar shot through the sop wall leaving a gapping whole and landing next to Brandy. Another time I thought no one was home and I dropped off a large Christmas box of home made goodies well you can guess what happened when she came out of the back room where she had been sleeping. We are so pleased she was put to rest in our back yard we will watch out for her forever. Every time Dad picks apples from the Fathers day gifts of trees from Brandon he will be happy to have known our boy. When Sundays come and I don't get my weekly call a piece of me will wither. Brandon brought more joy to our lives than I can begin to share. We are honored to call him Son. "

"What to say he was my first love.. we lived down the road from each other basically all our lives. On of the things he used to say to me when i would ride my bike, He would yell out ( Dam I wish I were a bike seat!!!) I would be so embarrassed he would just laugh. Many great times hunting, swimming and just hangin out. June 14th 1994 our daughter Brandee Lynn was born. Greatest day in my life!!!!Unfortunately things between us did not last. Brandon and Brandee just started talking and texting each other in April. He helped her with a down payment on her car. Thank You again. They both wanted to meet and get to know each other sooo badly. All the looking forward of meeting her dad.I still think about our phone call making plans to meet finally on July 5th for the first time in twenty years to see each other. I just wish plans stayed and this would of never happened and that Brandee and brandon would of got the chance that they deserve. How truely heart broken we both are. You should be here.... Please forgive me and remember that I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!!! "

"I will very truly miss Brandon. We always had a family Christmas Eve party and he started coming with Justin. He always said When he walked in let the party begin I am here and everyone would laugh. We considered him part of the family. The last two years he never came and he was truly missed by all. The last time I seen him he was at Sunset Bay Resort in pickerel. We had a couple of shots together. I will cherish that memory the rest of my life. He had a way of lifting your spirits up when you were down. He was always smiling and happy. His life was cut way too short and I will miss his laugh and smiling face. Brandon you were one of a kind! May you rest in peace! Love ya Donna"
