Cheryl Ann Krueger
March 22, 1953 - July 13, 2014

Cheryl Ann Krueger, 61 of Deerbrook, died Sunday July 13, 2014 at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Milwaukee on March 22, 1953, a daughter of William and Myrtle (Gearhart) Mandel. She married Ronald "Ronn" Krueger, Sr. on February 9, 1974 in Milwaukee.

Raised in Milwaukee, she graduated from South Division High School and, in 1973, the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. Cheryl was a loving wife and mother, always placing her family first.

She was proud of her 40 year career as a nurse, working first in Milwaukee before dedicating 12 years to Eastview Manor in Antigo, then 12 years at the Aspirus General Clinic where she helped create the triage department. For the past year and a half she was employed as a triage nurse, working from her Deerbrook home for Intellatriage of Illinois.

Mrs. Krueger enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, doing crafts, shopping for a bargain and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She will be remembered for her smile and hugs for everyone and a twinkle in her eye.

She is survived by her parents, her husband, three sons, Ronald (Tammy) Krueger, Jr., Luxemburg, John (Virginia) Krueger, Antigo, David (Gretchen) Krueger, Antigo; a daughter, Rebecca Krueger, Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren Kara, Dustin, Bowen, Brittany, Dakota and Cera Joy Krueger; one great-grandchild Aleah Ksobiech; four sisters, Patricia Mandel, Hales Corners, Diane Mandel, Hales Corners, Karen Mandel, Milwaukee and Lynn Bittner, Wausau.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. A private funeral service for family will be held.
