Jerry Tesch
May 1, 1951 - July 25, 2014

Jerry Tesch, of Elton, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at home. He was 63 years old. He was born on May 1, 1951 in Antigo, a son of Gerald and Georgia (Walk) Tesch. He married Christine "Tina" Smitala on December 26, 2000 in Las Vegas. She survives.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1969.

He lived in Green Bay for many years where he worked for Packerland Packaging and Regal Window and Door. For many years he owned and operated Tesch Construction, building custom homes in the greater Green Bay area. He was a member of the Brown County Home Builders Association.

He moved to Elton in 2000 where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking drives to check up on family and friends.

Survivors including his wife are two daughters, Jessica (Cory) LeCapitaine, Green Bay, Michelle Tesch, Chicago; a step-son, Cory (Jennifer) Harris, Rothschild; two step-daughters, Christy Orusa, Wausau, Jessica Harris, Appleton; five grandchildren Madyson, Ava, Ashlyn, Aubrie and Lauren; his former wife Jean; three brothers, John Tesch, Green Bay, Steve (Dee) Tesch, Crivitz, Tom (Jan) Tesch, Green Bay; two sisters, Laurie (Nick) Sturzl, Green Bay, Lynn (Mike) Carney, Green Bay; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; he is further survived by his wifes family Cindy (Richard) Higley, Julie (Michael) Jadrich; Stephen (Donna) Smitala, Kenneth (Margaret) Smitala, Paul (Lori) Smitala, Thomas John Smitala, Todd Smitala and Claudio; his father-in-law and his wife, Kenneth and Monique Smitala.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
