In loving memory of

Phyllis Ann Friedl

Phyllis Ann Friedl, 84 of Antigo, died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at home with her loving family. She was born in 1930 in Antigo. She married Clarence Friedl in 1950.

A lifelong resident of Antigo, she was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, a 1948 graduate of Antigo High School and attended Antigo Vocational School. She worked as a secretary after graduation, her most cherished job was Ward Secretary for Langlade Memorial Hospital. She was a secretary for the First Baptist Church and Edward Jones Investments. For a brief time she also did home care which she enjoyed.

Mrs. Friedl was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pleasure in knitting and crocheting. She also greatly enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens with her husband.

In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by four children, Kathy (Ron), Bob, Dave (Debbie) and LuAnne (Jake); eight grandchildren, Karen, Derek, Joe, Kirsten, Tyler, Adam, Ryan and Vincent; three great grandchildren, Samantha, Addison and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating.
