Ronald James Moras
March 29, 1951 - August 1, 2014

Ronald James Moras Sr. of Antigo, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was 63 years old. He was born on March 29, 1951 in Laona, a son of George and Evettaline (Kendrick) Moras. He married Karen Bugler on September 6, 1974 in Milwaukee. She survives

A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Moras served in the United States Army from June 1, 1970 to June 22, 1972.

He worked in home repair and as a certified hospice worker with Ministry Hospice in Rhinelander.

Mr. Moras was a member of the Paul Marmes Disabled American Veterans Chapter 23 Antigo, the Anderson-Sather American Legion Post 524, White Lake, the Vietnam Veterans of America Inc., Milwaukee and the National Order of Trench Rats.

He was proud to participate in building for Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and feeding the birds.

In addition to his wife survivors include two sons, Ronald (Jamie) Moras Jr. of South Carolina and George Moras of Rhinelander; four grandchildren, Anthony, Dessa, Lee and Melissa; two brothers, Edward (Donna) Moras of West Bend and John (Pamela Jean) Moras of Thiensville; special daughter, Donna (Joshua) Raunio of Antigo; special grandchildren, Annastaia Raunio and Maranda Gartman both of Antigo.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Beth Moras.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Revered David Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. White Lake veterans will conduct military rites at the funeral home following the services.
