Carl "Carly/Spinner" Prybil
RIVERSIDE, Iowa--Carl "Carly/Spinner" Prybil Jr., 68, of Riverside, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be held at10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. Following the service a time of food and fellowship will be held at the V.F.W. in Riverside. Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014, with a 4 p.m. rosary and vigil service at the church. Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside is caring for Carl and his family.
Carl was born on April 1, 1946, in Iowa City, the son of Carl and Patricia Erusha Prybil. On December 17, 1982, he married Loretta Coleman at their home in Riverside.
He was a lifelong farmer and retired from Van Bus Kirk Construction Company after 20 years. He attended St. Mary's in Lone Tree and was a social member of the V.F.W. in Riverside and the AMVets in Richmond.
Carl will be deeply missed by his wife, Loretta Prybil of Riverside;a daughter, Colette Prybil of Ainsworth; his mother, Patricia Prybil of Riverside; and four brothers, Jim Prybil of North Liberty, Don Prybil, Tom Prybil and wife, Pat, and Steve Prybil and wife, Kerry, all of Riverside.
Carl was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gerald Prybil.
