Agnes M Hoffman
September 8, 1936 - October 10, 2014

Agnes M.(Kahles) Hoffman, age 78 of Deerbrook, died October 10, 2014 at the home of her niece, Kathie Steffen's in Crivitz. She was under the care of her niece, Susie Hartzheim and Unity Hospice. Born on September 8, 1936 in Marathon County, she was a daughter of Michael and Martha (Miller) Kahles. She married John "Jack" Hoffman on November 19, 1960 in Oak Park, IL. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2014.

Mrs. Hoffman was a graduate of Wells High School, Wells, IL. She worked for Tri Industries in Chicago as a coil winder from 1952-1957. She then went to Seeburg Corp in Chicago and worked on the assembly line making juke boxes from 1957-1979. In 1979 she moved to Deerbrook and became a seasonal worker at Bakers Canning in Antigo until her retirement in 1983.

Following her husband's death she moved to Crivitz to be near her brother, Raymond and nieces and nephews.

Survivors include a sister, Violet Kucta of Manitowoc; and a brother, Raymond Kahles of Crivitz.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter, Cletus and August Kahles; and six sisters, Katheryn Keshen, Frances Appleglise, Barbara Cercleski, Evelyn Mengel, Elizabeth Wankowski and Helen Mason.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 1 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Omer Kelley officiating. Burial will take place at the Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
