"Rich was a great co-worker and friend. I met him when I transferred in the dept at EMD. I was learning the job and made plenty of mistakes he was kind enough to take time to teach me how to read drawings and show me were I went wrong. He had a lot of my Dad's qualities and Rich loved to talk about his kids and grand kids. I loved his stories and his sense of humor made the day a little brighter. I truly missed him when he retired and offer my condolences to the family."

Matt wrote on Oct 20, 2014:

"If a man's legacy is in his children, Rich did a great job in helping produce three children who love The Lord. My sympathies and condolences to the family, but praise God for another child gone home"
