Donna N. Dioguardi, age 80, of the Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Township died on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at home. Born in Marysville, CA, she lived in North Bergen for most of her life before moving to Long Branch in 1994. She settled in Holiday City Berkeley in 1997.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dioguardi was a Crossing Guard for Hudson County, assigned to North Bergen. She was a Eucharistic Minister and CCD Teacher for many years at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, North Bergen, and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Conrad "Rocky" Dioguardi; her children, Michael Dioguardi (Vickie) of Long Branch, Toni Fagliarone (John) of Tannersville, PA, John Dioguardi (Kelly) of Easley, SC, Ronnie Dioguardi (Nancy) of White Sulphur Springs, NY, Nancy Forbes (Billy) of North Bergen, Dede Belfield (David) of Rutherford, and Christina Scott (Bill) of Ramsey; twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; her sister Bebe, and nieces and nephews in California.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, Contributions in Mrs. Dioguardi's memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), or to the charity of your choice

"The first time I met Mama Dio, she and Dede took me down the shore. It was cold and windy but we walked on the beach and shared a bucket of French fries. What a sweet angel and now she has her wings and is dancing in the sand in heaven!!!"
