"I had the privilege of being Anne's roommate in college at Augie. She was my best friend. I loved her as a sister. Although neither of us were good letter writers, we remained in touch over all these years. We shared our good times and our challenges. She was always there to share those times. I will miss her emails and calls.
My sincerest sympathies to Michael and their children. They know what a wonderful wife and mother and friend they had in Anne. May all those wonderful memories comfort you in these days. Lynda Lee"

"I will always remember Anne's big smile and her laughter when telling a joke. She was such a dedicated teacher with our special needs students. It was a pleasure to serve on committees with her and share that profession over the 30 years I was with the district. God bless her and her loving family."

"What a wonderful lady to be a small part of our lives. It was such fun and a great time when our families would get together. Here was Anne ( the joyful person with her little kids) right in the group of who gathered. She was great to be around. We did not have the relationship that the closer cousins had, but we thought of you often. Our thought and prayers go out to all her family, Michael & children, John David and family, Marie, Ruth. From the Paul & Cyndi Bersagel and our familys"

"Our Annie is a brave lady. My hero as she made a home in the woods and cared for Mike and her dear Pilar, Misha, Marek, and Gesila. My hero as she took forgotten children and helped them feel worthy. My hero as she trusted me with her precious friendship. My hero had to leave us, but we will treasure her always. My love, Martha"
