"I will remember Michell's smile because she always found a reason to smile, even when life handed her some bad cards. I first met Michelle 20 years ago and we became instant friends. We probably heard 200 bands together and attended dozens of festivals, concerts, and campouts together. She was my pal, a great listener, and sensitive. She was fun and spririted and loved nature, poetry, photography, dressing up, and being surrounded by friends, Michelle's death is tragic and I am heart broken by the thought of her final hours in the apartment she so cherished. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends who were able to share in the joy of knowing her. Love you, sweet little kitten..."

"I was lucky enough to see Michelle at a Halloween Party this past October. We joked at how we both dressed up a like. We had a great conversation & she looked beautiful as ever. She was so talented with her photography & always captured the moment when we were out camping. When my dog Bailee went missing,she made me an awesome collage of him with picture's she had taken over the years. I keep it next to my bed & will always cherish it. I will miss her deeply & my heart goes out to her family at this difficult time. Just know she was loved by many."
