In loving memory of

Sven Olaf Anderson
November 2, 1928 - August 30, 2011

Sven Olaf Gunnar Anderson was born on November 2, 1928 in Gunnarn, Sweden. He passed away on August 30, 2011 in Bellevue, Washington. Gunnar is survived by his loving wife Norma Anderson to whom he was married to for 61 years. Also survived by his daughter Laurie Jones and his son Michael Anderson, Granddaughter Kimberly Ehlers, Grandsons Matthew and Jeffrey Mooney, Jeremy and Justin Anderson, and Great-Grandchildren: Maddix, McKayla, Wyatt, Silas, Trace and Journey.

Gunnar was a World War II Veteran who served in the Navy. He retired from United Parcel Service in 1986 after over 35 years of dedicated service. His greatest joy in his life was his wife and his family who he loved to travel with and share stories. He loved to go on cruises and travel the world. He loved to hunt and fish. If you were fortunate enough to have Gunnar as a friend you would know how he always had your back and was very loyal. He was a very kind, gentle soul: the "organizer" when it came to his friends. He touched so many people and gave of himself to all he came in contact with. We will always remember him with love and respect. He will live FOREVER in our hearts.
