Was born July 12, 1920 in San Diego, California. Passed away November, 28, 2011 in Bellevue, Washington. Robert is the son of Robert, Sr. and Susan Gillis, father of Jon Gillis (Issaquah), grandfather of Jason Gillis (Redmond, WA), Brandon Sparks-Gillis (Buellton, CA), Rachel Gillis (Waikoloa, HI) and Heather Fate (Puyallup, WA) Great grandfather to Chase Gillis (Redmond, WA)and Ethan Fate (Puyallup, WA). Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Ann, son Timothy A. Gillis and devoted daughter in law Claudia J. Gillis.
