"What a sad story, when i arrived in United States, Jackie was the only person who knew my family by having lived in the Congo in the same community as my parents. Her and Ludo were like a secong family for me for all these years. i will greatly miss her and her councils when i had some ! Because of my husband's famiily live in the State of Washington we would try to come and see them at least once every two years we would of couse also visit Jackie and Ludo, and we allways were received like close family. Jacqueline Van Hemelryck (née Thiry) was born on May 11, 1928 in Brussels, Belgium. She passed away on January 23, 2012, in Bothell, Washington. She is survived by her son (Christophe) and her husband (Ludo) as well as 3 daughters (Patricia, Claudia and Nathalie), as well as many other family members and friends. She will be dearly missed.
