"Harlow was a regular customer at my parents restaurant, the Sunlite Cafe in downtown Renton in the mid 50?s. He was a young man in 1955, he showed up and courted his future wife Pat, who was one of our early hires at the Sunlite. My mom Kean Mar) told me that Pat asked her if Harlow was a suitable suitor. I believe my mom said yes. I remember Harlow, he was on the quit side. Showed up at the Sunlite Cafe occasionally kind of quiet is what I remember. Smoked cigarettes like a chimney but everyone did back then. So sorry to hear of Harlow Bonn?s passing. I was thinking about some of the waitresses that were around 55 years ago. Not many left, perhaps 1 or 2 out of the whole crew. John Mar, (Son of Jean and Moo Min), Feb. 3, 2023"
