Donald Roy Bonner, our sweet love, born 3-21-1959 in Oaks, North Dakota lost his battle with cancer on 4-24-2012 in Kent, Washington.
Don liked to golf and enjoyed sports, sports and even more sports. Spending time with family and friends was the most important thing to him. He had the biggest heart and a wonderful smile and a most contagious laugh. Don enjoyed being outdoors and working out in the yard whether it was gardening, pruning or just mowing the lawn. Don was the best helper making quilts with his wife Lissa of 18 years. Don was a great husband and befriended everyone he met. Don & Lissa spent three months working in Alaska at their dear friends, Glenna and Freddy's lodge and Don got to go out many times fishing for halibut, crab, and even caught a shark once. He shared stories of that experience with anyone who would listen. Don will be deeply missed by everyone. Don was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
Don is survived by his wife and best friend Lissa, his loving daughter Dana (Mike Pacecca and family), his dad Roy (Denise Bonner), his mother Janet (Clyde Thompson), his brothers, Jeff Bonner (and family), Danny Bonner ( and family), Roy Jr. (Courtney Bonner and family), His cousin Marty (Theresa Bonner and family), his sisters, Sue Bonner and family, Patty(Jeff Triplett and family), Stacey (Charlie Snyder and family), Cheri(Gale Belgarde and family), Aunt Inez Harrington, Aunt Donna Montgomery and family, Uncle Les Harrington and family, Uncle Fay Harrington and family, mother in law Dorothy (Jim McCosh), sister in laws Debbie Ruff and family, Kathy (Spanky Bellinger and family), Stepmother Brenda (John Haupert and family), numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Don was preceded in death by his loving daughter Danielle Bonner, sister Kathy Koppinger, uncle Ronald Harrington, father in law Willard Gile, grandma Darline Ruff, and close family friends Chuck and Mickey Pelley, cousin Jesse Rodriguez.
