James Durst was born to Littie Bell (Hamilton) and Elijah Durst on August 23, 1938 in Guadalupe, Texas. He retired from IBEW#46. He passed away on October 2, 2012 in Seattle, Washington. He is survived by his loving wife Eloise Durst of Kent, Washington, sons Darren Durst and Vincent Jenkins, daughter Lora Turner, granddaughter Shakina Durst, grandsons Tyson Durst and Joshua Gillock, sisters-in-law Juanita Grant and Marie Durst, nephews Reginald Grant, Elgin Grant, Joseph Durst, Robert Durst, nieces Sonya Slaughter, Robin Durst, as well as many other family members and friends. He will be dearly missed.
