In loving memory of

HK Yogeshwar Ananda
February 4, 1940 - March 7, 2013

H.K. Yogeshwar Ananda (a.k.a. "Yogi") was born on February 4, 1940. He passed away on March 7, 2013 in Bellevue, Washington. He is survived by his loving wife, Vijaya Ananda, his son, Rahul Ananda, and many other family members and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Yogi was a teller of stories, a connoisseur of old Indian music and Urdu poetry. He traveled all over the world seeing places that he found inspiring from his interests in architecture, ancient history, chess, stamp collecting, and coin collecting.

He adored his beautiful wife, Vijaya and was a great father to his son, Rahul. He drew inspiration from the literary achievements of his illustrious brother, the great Indian author, Raja Rao. He was a part and parcel of the Indian community in Richland, WA, and cherished the deep friendships that developed during his stay there. He supported the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission over the years.

He will be in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
