Irene E. Maloney

Irene E. Maloney peacefully passed away on July 19th at Evergreen Hospice, Kirkland at the age of 95. Irene, a long-time Seattle resident, is survived by her daughters, Maureen Mooney (Drew) and Jan Conrad (Dennis), her grandchildren Graham and Neil Mooney, Nicole Conrad and Bob Conrad (Michele) and 3 great grandchildren, Ella, Olivia and Colby Conrad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale and her grand-daughter, Rachelle. Irene was an avid golfer, playing 3-4 times a week until she was 84, participating in city and state tournaments and playing with the Jackson Jill's at Jackson Golf Course, Seattle. She and Dale met at a dance hall and continued to enjoy their love of dancing, taking ballroom lessons and dancing at the Elks Club on week-ends. Mom was a compassionate and caring Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma, who cherished the time spent with her family.
This day is remembered and quietly kept,
