Justin LOVED music. It was a huge part of everyday in his life. He could rap, write, sing...this is something we shared and all who knew him knew that you couldn't come around without him insisting that you listen to his latest favorite or an old classic he loved!
Justin wanted so much for me and everyone he loved to show compassion towards others. He believed empathy is what makes us human. He loved spending time with our pup Kaila...he called her our daughter. Justin loved the beach and sunshine and wanted desperately to go to Hawaii. He felt a real connection with Polynesian culture and many different cultures throughout the world.
He was smart and loved to get into deep discussions about life, social issues, the universe, spirituality and just about anything else he learned about.
He was plagued by mental, physical and emotional illness his entire life, yet he always found a way to laugh and smile even through the pain. I will miss his silly stories and sense of humor most. He was larger than life...brighter than the sun and was my universe...he called me his MOON! No words can express how deeply he was loved and will be missed.
