In loving memory of

Craig Douglas
October 31, 1949 - December 31, 2013

Craig Douglas Hancock, longtime resident of Bellevue, died unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep the last day of 2013. He was 64 years old.

Craig was born October, 1949 in Beach, North Dakota as the second son to Warren and Rose Hancock, now deceased. The family soon moved to Havre, Montana and where he and his brother Dennis were joined in life's journey with their two sisters, Marie and Bernice. His junior high years were spent in Rockford, Il before the family permanently settled in Bellevue in 1965.

To those who knew Craig, he was honest and trustworthy to a fault. He was also selflessly considerate to strangers, several times organizing benefits to assist members of the community who had fallen on hard times. Craig was a graduate of Sammamish High School and the University of Washington. He married Susan Scribner in a Bellevue ceremony after college graduation and before entering the US Army. While being a huge Huskies fan, it must be said that his dog Allie, faithful to the end, might have been an even greater passion.

Craig will be interred at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington with military honors.

Craig will truely be missed and it won't be the same without him.
