It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend, Barbara K Leen.
Regardless of the lemons she was handed in life Barbara continued to make lemonade. Given up by her family as an infant, Barbara never lacked for a large family of friends.......from neighbors, Special Olympics, Friendship Adventures and her church..........to know her was to love her! She was sensitive, compassionate, loving and kind with a unique way of bringing people together with her special laugh and great sense of humor. Barbara loved everyone she met and never forgot a friend's birthday.
Among her favorite things were being with friends, watching Disney movies while singing along to every song, bowling, birthdays, dances, bingo, her church and going out to eat.... and of course diet Pepsi and chocolate ice cream!
She loved bowling with the Eagles and has been made the "forever captain" of lanes one and two by her longtime friend and coach, Mary Ellen Eagle.
We will miss you Barbara K.
