Tanner Houghton, Sr. 44, died on December 2 at his home in Milton, Washington. He took his own life after living with serious depression for many years.
Tanner was born in Anchorage, Alaska on August 20, 1970. He moved all over the United States and lived in Italy while he was a minor. He has lived in South King County most of his adult life. Tanner was funny and generous. He worked most of his adult life in the grocery industry where he enjoyed serving his community. Tanner was a talented woodworker, a loving brother, a loyal son, and a devoted father.
He is survived by both his parents, Terence Houghton Sr and Wanda Houghton; his wife, Karie; his four children: Tanner, Jr, Kinsey, Liam, and Cole; all four of his siblings: Terence Jr, Trenton, Trevor, and Brett, all of his nieces and nephews: Carly Jean Smith, Kaylee , Colton , Casey , Cody , Tyler , Caleb , Taryn , Alexa , Daniella; and his great nephews Broden, James Quinn, and Jax.
