Jerry Vandenberg wrote on Jan 24, 2015:

"Billy and I were shipmates on the USS Renshaw from 1958-61. My memories of Bill were of a very smart Fire Control Technician who worked hard and mostly stayed out of trouble. The fact that he ended up working and living in my home town was a pleasant surprise to me. I have fond memories of several reunions with him and his family members. I want to pay my eternal respect for the sacrifices he made for his countryman in Vietnam. What he left their will not be forgotten by me."
