In loving memory of

Rae Ann Jordan
June 19, 1950 - March 16, 2015

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She passed away peacefully long before her time as a result of pancreatic cancer.

Born to Melvin and Mary Ashley in Ellensburg, Rae Ann grew up on M Street in Auburn with sister Patty, younger brother Paul joined the family when Rae Ann and Patty were in high school. In 1971 Rae Ann graduated from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Yakima. Her career as a RN included experience in Emergency and Neurovascular medicine.

While in nursing school Rae Ann met Lloyd and they were married August 3, 1974. They lived in Richmond and Ladner before moving to Saanichton and later Dean Park on Vancouver Island, all in British Columbia. Her two happiest days were the birth of her daughter Kerry in 1982 and son Dane in 1987. She was the most loving and thoughtful mom who supported their school endeavors and welcomed their friends. The family moved to Bothell in 1998 closer to Rae Ann's family.

Rae Ann was the most selfless, kind, and caring person imaginable. Her career as a nurse carried over to family relationships where she never failed to offer her support and expertise. She was always ready and eager to help, no task was ever too big or too small. Her smile, love, and hugs will be deeply missed.

In accordance with Rae Ann's wishes her family will be scattering her ashes in a few of her favorite places.

"Dear Mary, Patty & Paul...I am so sorry to JUST hear (October 2017!) that Rae Ann had passed away March 16, 2015! I had no idea! I can still see her huge smile! I remember when she met Lloyd...he was very good looking! :)) I have known Rae Ann since about 1955 and more so since 1960 when our family moved to Auburn from California. We (the Davis family, Curtis family and Ashley families used to go camping at Salmon La Sac back in the 60's!) My husband and I now live in Cle Elum, not far from where your Uncle Jake & Aunt Lorraine Krahenbuhl lived. Small world! I still remember the rock hill that either your cousin (Sam? or Mike?) took us up in his jeep (?) after he got his driver's license. That was scarey! That was a LONG time ago, but I see that hill every time we go to town in Cle Elum! Well, just a few fond memories of times past. I still think of all of you and still send your Mom a Christmas card every year. Love, Brenda Davis-Deeds 10-13-2017"
