Linda Amburgy Jagla wrote on May 7, 2015:

"I will always remember your Mom for her kindness and for how well she dressed. When I was younger I thought she must be a rich lady. She certainly was...rich in love."

Joanie Hanke wrote on May 5, 2015:

"I have great childhood memories of Aunt LaVerne and all the Nourigat cousins. During the summer they would all came up to Kiel to visit us & we would play 7 steps around the "Grandpa's shoe shop" and all kinds of great outdoor games. Of course there was always brats on the grill. Then there was the summer I came down to Gurnee, IL and stayed for a week with the Nourigat's. I had never been around so many boys -- it made quite an impression on me. August & Rose Hanke's children were in this order: Eileen, Orville, Laverne, Melvin, Lucille, Alice & Bernice. Now the last of them is gone. "

Pam Shoemate wrote on May 5, 2015:

"Aunt LaVerne will be dearly missed I'm sure by many. I had such a wonderful time with her many years ago when I last went to Wisconsin for a funeral. My prayers are with the family."
