"I was greatly saddened to hear of Brandi's passing only this weekend. Her close friend, Tammy Jones, is my stepsister. I rarely see Tammy, and so when I saw Tammy at a family reunion, I regaled the funny, and interesting times with Brandi and Tammy. Tammy quickly informed me how Brandi had died. Brandi was very pretty, and always getting me into trouble with jealous boyfriends who did not realize she was more of a little sister to me. I'm still missing hair from the back of my head from one of those fights. Nonetheless, I have so many great memories of Brandi, and I will miss her more now that she is gone from us. I am so sorry to the Hills and the rest of Brandi's family for their tremendous loss. I'll never forget her sweetness, beguiling beauty, and her wild spirit when I knew her in her youth."
