"I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as God's word the Bible. Why do people we love die? Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away. Share your favorite memories of Carl"

"No sister could have asked for a "Better" brother then my brother. I know you are in a better place now, knowing you are now in the arms of our Heavenly Father with no more pain & handicaps makes me happy. I loved you sooo much & there will be a hole in my heart till we meet again. I know you are smiling down on us all with your love. Will always remember your smile when I walked in with a cup of coffee & crumb bun. You will be missed more then anyone could know as you & Arlen were always there for me in a very tough time. The encouraging advise & watching movies together, always including me in all family things, with your tex's to make sure I came there, there are no words for that. I have soo much I want to tell you,but ,know I know you are in a better place with our Lord ,body completely healed & other family members. I love you sooo much & you will still be in my prayers everyday till we meet again!!!! Your Loving Favorite Beautiful Sister (your only sister ...how long before I realized the meaning to that!!)."

Charlene Costello wrote on Jun 23, 2015:

"Words cannot express the sorrow we feel at the loss of our wonderful "Daddy Carl". He was married to our Mother for just over 44 years and he accepted my brother, sister and I as his own the first day he met us. He was always there for us through tough times and happy times to offer support, encouragement or a big warm hug. His smile, hearty laugh, or words of wisdom continuously gave us the confidence to be strong. He will be greatly missed but will remain in my heart with my dear biological Dad forever. Losing a Father is one of the hardest things you will have to face in life but losing two is almost unbearable. Knowing they no longer suffer and that one day we will meet again brings us peace. We love you Daddy Carl and will always hold your memories close. Love your char char"
