"I met Mike at Rick's Deli in Parker many years ago, I think it was 1987-88. He would come in for egg salad sandwich almost everyday that summer. I looked forward to that smile. He made me laugh and he made me smile. My favorite thing he used to say throughout the years that I knew him, "know what I mean jellybean?" He will never be forgotten. Tiffany Smith-Johnson "

"I met Mike at work over 12 years ago and we became immediate friends. His sense of humor and wit were stellar. He always had a big smile and something funny to say. We have shared many beers and lots of laughs over the years.
His birthday was the day after mine and every year we sent each other silly cards and dumb gifts, although his were always way funnier than mine. He also liked to prank phone call me and somehow I fell for it every time. I really miss those. Sometimes he would call and tell me something funny and then say "I just wanted to call and hear you laugh". I can honestly say I never saw him in a bad mood. He loved to talk about his family, his wishes to move back to Colorado, and looked forward to spending Christmas there.
I miss you Mike. If heaven has Bud Light and NASCAR, I know what you are doing. Rest easy my friend."
