"I worked with Vic for many years at Seattle City Light. He was a great friend and I miss his companionship... his story's of his days as a professional wrestler I had first believed to be a bit of a fiction but then I learned that he, indeed, had been a well known local wrestler. Even at work when he was over 80 years old he would go downstairs during his break to exercise in our gym. He would stand on his head for over 10 minutes every day.... one time he fell and hit a metal meter shelf. I heard the noise and came around the corner to see what the problem was. When he saw me, as he was still dazed from hitting the metal shelf, he jumped up and went into a wrestling poise. I stayed back until he realized just where he was as I knew he could have tackled me easily...."
