Robert Lee Pesl
January 11, 1941 - September 26, 2015

Robert Lee Pesl, of Antigo, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, under the care of hospice. He was 74 years old. He was born on January 11, 1941 in Antigo, a son of the late George and Selma (Greenburg) Pesl.

He served in the United States Navy from April of 1956 to January of 1962.

Mr. Pesl worked for the Antigo Milk Plant for 13 years.

He was a member of the Leland Tollefson Veterans of Foreign War Post 2653, Antigo and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to the casino.

Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Plzak of Fredonia; two brothers, Richard (Kathy) Pesl of Antigo and George (Donna) Pesl Jr. of Harshaw; 9 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Schoblaska; two brothers-in-law, Ronald Schoblaska and Dale Plzak; and one nephew.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery where Antigo veterans will conduct military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
